This "gutka" glass set of earrings also includes a mix of fabric covered teak beads.
The multi-coloured and upcycled cotton fabric is wrapped around light teak beads. The fabric is cut extremely small and secured to small teak beads. Small threads are ruffled and left to give the beads texture.
In India, the glass beads are called "gutka". The gutka glass beads are interdispersed with the fabric beads to give used in this necklace vibrant colors and an intricate design.
All fixtures like the chain and clasps are brass.
Each set is different in pattern but stays with the general design.
