Uplift Fair Trade is proud to support Prowess. This organization located in the mountains of South India supports young women from poor communities by empowering them with fair employment, making toys and quilts. In this group the women are also taught life-skills such as budgeting, all of which help end the cycle of poverty in their families. Because of the success of the group, and people like you who have bought their products, some of the women have been able to save enough to put a deposit down on a house, uplifting them out of a life of poverty.
